The Bowe Family: April 2012

http://bowefam1029.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 27, 2012. I purchased these three frames at Goodwill for a few bucks each, they had the glass and everything with them, but were just an unstained rough oak. But solid oak. Great frames. I painted them black, along with several other wood frames I already had and then used a high lustre lacquer to finish them. I got these really nice white double mats for half off at Fred Meyer one day, so they were only $2-$3 a piece. This was a pretty big project - I went through a lot of spray paint.

Thursday, June 12, 2008. Mason made a new girlfriend. So last night I was watching TV and heard this funny jingling noise from outside and when I looked, there was another dog out there! A cute yellow lab puppy was tearing around the yard with Mason. The next door neighbor has been watching her for another neighbor, so when I told him she was missing he came over and got her. Only to look out the window this morning and see her again! Here's Mason and Kayla. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Keeping Up with the Coxes

Friday, January 2, 2015. Instead of a big birthday party, Jacob decided to have a special sleepover with one friend to celebrate this year. We were going to have it in mid December, but then the flu took us down! So, we rescheduled it for the week after Christmas. It turned out perfectly because it was something to look forward to after Christmas was over and we could have it on a weekday! We kept the boys occupied upstairs for a bit while we slowly came out of our early morning fog and went downstairs a...

The Big Trip

A blog of both the "Big Trip" across the US, and later adventures in the life of the Cox Family. Monday, September 29, 2014. For starters, let me say that Every Burning Man is different. There are things that are "better" and things that are "worse", but mostly things that are "different" and always, "wonderful", "amazing" and "a series of remarkable moments". This year was exactly all of those things, and more. Sunday night, it rained - really rained. There was lightning which hit the man twice - bu...
