Monday, December 24, 2012. So here I am sitting in Starbucks, Grand Indonesia. Trying to reflect the past year that will pass by in a couple hours. Yep, the year of being 25 years old. I used to think something big would happen to me when I'm 25. The old fairy-tale me used to think I'd be married or having this super shiny career. Reality, I am still (happilly) single, and no, I don't have that shiny career (yet). I'm on my way. But hey, the (constantly improving) new me will have to disagree with that!

Monday, April 22, 2013. The one where we raced around town. Last week me and three other friends, Disty, Kenny, Rissa, joined the Amazing Big Durian Race. It's held by The American Chambers and pretty much inspired by the famous Amazing Race. I have been wanting to participate in such races ever since i first watched the TV show back in my college days. To race around the world would be perfect. Not to mention super exciting! Each picture must have at least two team members in it to be valid. Funny thing...

I let my mind got lost in negative thoughts, in all possible ways of difficulty. I let myself got exhausted. I let anxiety took over. I do realize though, that this has to stop.

It is a pair of super-easy and fast knit half mittens designed by Jo Bangles. I finished mine in two days. It is a free pattern on english that almost just uses knits and purls.
