Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Well, Mitchell turned 2! I cannot believe my baby boy is now a 2-year-old. We had a great weekend of celebrating the day of his birth! I cried a little the last time I put him to bed as a 1-year-old. 2 is definatly not a baby anymore. The weekend before we had a great 4th-of July. My camera has been broken and so I had to use my mother and Mrs. Linda's to capture the 4th and Mitchell's birthday. As they are both out of town, I don't have access to them yet! Allen, Rina, and Averi. Monday, February 15, 2010. We woke up Monday morning to a light blanket of snow and Averi was TOO EXCITED! But I had to burst her bubble because I had to work in Fulton. So, I quickly told her that if we got ready early enough, that we could play in Fulton.but I let her down again! Even though it was just a dusting, it still made her day just to be outside trying to catch a few snowflakes! And I was just thrilled that I had not fully let my daughter down! Monday, January 26, 2009. What Does It Mean to Be Humble? One of my favorite websites I visit has a bible verse of the day and as I went to look at the site today the verse is: Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. - James 4:10. This got me thinking. Do I humble myself before the Lord? And what does it mean to be humble before the Lord? I think this verse speaks volumes to me today. Why is it that we can't even make it through Halloween before the retailers are putting up Christmas decorations and doing big countdowns on how many shopping days we have left? Allen, Rina, and Averi. Friday, March 26, 2010. Happy Birthday to Me! Thirty year old me with my 3 year old daughter before bringing her to her Lola's. I had a wonderful THIRTIETH (yes, 30th) birthday. My sweet, sweet husband surprised me with a much needed night away for us in Memphis! We stayed at The Peabody, ate WAY TOO MUCH at Texas de Brazil, and watched South Pacific at The Orpheum! It was a great way to kick-off my 30s! Me and my sweet hubby before our dinner. Me and Averi with my birfday cake!

Allen, Rina, and Averi. Saturday, April 17, 2010. I Left My Heart in San Francisco. Well, maybe only part of! I still HEART NY! The three of us just returned home from San Fran, literally parked our Tahoe in our garage at 9:35 this morning! We had such a WONDERFUL time! Allen had a conference to attend for a few days, so we decided to go a few days early and stay a few later (April 9-17, 2010).it was so very much needed! Everyone needs time away from home and the daily grind! Averi taking in the city!

Allen, Rina, and Averi. Thursday, August 12, 2010. I really cannot believe that it's already time for my daughter to start dance lessons! Where has the time gone and please make it SLOW DOWN! With much anticipation (I'm not really sure who was more excited.Me or her! Her first class was yesterday! She and all her little friends were just P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S! I got teary eyed when the teacher made us Mommies leave the dance studio, no joke! Hopefully we'll make it there! Showing off her ballet and tap shoes!
