The Crafting Asylum: May 2011

http://www.thecraftingasylum.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Traditional crafting with not so traditional results. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. A Trip To Middle Earth. Hello all, sorry about last week. I didn't forget, I swear, I got distracted by beer again and I never had a chance to write a post after Wednesday. But I have one for you today, a short one, a Spartan-less one, but one none the less! I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings, not quite as rabid as I used to be but close. A while back I made a few things that could be called Elvenesque. A Trip To Middle Earth.

The Crafting Asylum: July 2011

http://www.thecraftingasylum.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Traditional crafting with not so traditional results. Sunday, July 31, 2011. These are a few of my favorite things. I had planned to have a piratical project for today's post, but we had a bit of a laundry crisis that took up the majority of my day. alas. The fabric came from my grandmother's stock and I find it charming *pet the kitties*. Unfortunately my gorgeous Morgan's Mane crochet hook is too long to fit in the roll, so it gets a zebra striped box to itself. THIS IS. COFFEE! Sunday, July 24, 2011.

The Crafting Asylum: June 2011

http://www.thecraftingasylum.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Traditional crafting with not so traditional results. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. The darling little geisha is finished and she is so cute! Her name is Uzume (oo-zoo-may) and here she is in all her cuteness. Now to return you to your regularly scheduled Spartans. Hopefully I will have one for you next week. We have just passed the Summer Solstice (June 21) I was going to talk about it last week but didn't get to because of things outside my control. So you get a piece on it today! Thank you to this website.

Just 10 at a Time. Monday, September 12, 2011. Disguised Literary Classics - with pictures! Saint George and the Dragon. Retold by Margaret Hodges, illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman. Retold and illustrated by Ludmila Zeman. And apparently one of a series. Merlin and the Dragons. The Sea of Trolls. This is th...
