Monday, December 29, 2014. Since Lily and Sophia missed a week of school while in Hawaii, they missed a week's worth of practicing for the holiday program. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Fourth of july 2015}. We started celebrating the long holiday weekend a day early by having some friends over for dinner and drinks! And some candy necklaces, too! And like last year, we celebrated Fourth of July across the street with out friends, The Bradfords. They have a super fun street that does block parties and we are lucky that it's just a 2-minute walk from our house. Then afterward, they blew up this 30' water slide and all the neighborhood kids had a blast on it.

Monday, May 18, 2015. I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! I let the girls plan my day, and they did a great job! On Saturday, Keith took the girls to Palm Springs to visit his mom (and dad), and I spent the day with MY mom. It was wonderful. We had a delicious lunch by the beach in Del Mar, and then did some shopping at Michael's and Target. I always love spending time with her, and it was the perfect day. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. We have been taking full advantage of the pool this summer! Between my parents' community pool, Auntie Dawn's community pool and swimming Fridays at summer camp, these girls are in the water at least 4 days a week. Swimming is great. It's wonderful exercise for them, it gets them nice and tired and it serves as a bath a couple days a week. Haha! But seriously though, I am ready for the Fascination With Insects and Reptiles phase to end! Better that than afraid, I suppose!
