In short, we are taking bookings for our Children's Farm and Creative Arts Camp to be held Tues 7 to Thurs 9 October, 09h00 - 15h00. This beer is a favourite in our home. It is based on a recipe from the RD South African Cookbook. 25g fresh green ginger. 1 lemon, scrubbed. 25g cream of tartar. 4,5 litres boiling water. 1 package dried yeast. Bruise the ginger by folding it in a clean cloth and pounding it with a hammer to release the flavour. Using a potato peeler, peel the rind very thinly from the lemon. Monday, January 7, 2013. Summer Camps December 2012! Summer Camp arrived before we knew it, and was booked up in a jiffy! There were many new and exciting skills to be learned - like weaving, butter making and cheese making! Of course, we had to do soapmaking! The days just flew by and what a joy it was to see these children engaged in these age old crafts and activities. The joys of discovery - of the "I did it!
