For the Display of His Splendor: My Chains Are Gone
http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-chains-are-gone.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Thursday, September 11, 2008. My Chains Are Gone. God keeps bringing the theme of slavery to me. I've begun studying Exodus and the past week, I have been led to check out two movies: "Amistad" and "Amazing Grace". If you have not seen these movies, rent them or check them out at your local library - they are well worth the time investment! That we've been held captive by sin and lies and Jesus Christ redeems us by His blood. He is our activist! My dear sister, Rejoice!

For the Display of His Splendor: October 2007
http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. I have been experiencing confliction about Halloween this year for the first time ever. The Holy Spirit has prompted me to research, pray and engage other strong believers in a dialogue about this day. I grew up trick-or-treating and it was all about having fun. Nothing ghoulish or scary or evil. And I want that innocent fun for my kids (it's not high on the list of desires for them certainly! Thursday, October 25, 2007. I must praise Him!

For the Display of His Splendor: February 2010
http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Friday, February 12, 2010. Hasn't all the snow been lovely? I am just struck by God's beautiful creation. No two snowflakes are exactly alike - each one is unique. And yet, all together snow comes together to impact our lives in a tremendous way. It creates a kind of quiet, solemn, pure beauty. It creates in instant playground for our kiddos. And it wrecks havoc on our lives - we have to adjust, make changes,. Stay put and rest. Who is doing the rescuing? Fort Worth, Texa...

For the Display of His Splendor: March 2008
http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Wednesday, March 19, 2008. The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. This morning I have been reading Psalm 36 and 37. As I came to verse 14-15 in Psalm 37, the Holy Spirit prompted me to stop there for a moment. And I experienced one of those great "a-ha" moments. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). For the Display of His Splendor: Correction to Waitress
http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2008/05/correction-to-waitress.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Friday, May 30, 2008. Just wanted to clarify my "Waitress" post. When I wrote about my pastor describing the table where we feed on God's Word, I mentioned the screaming baby in the highchair. Well, I totally messed that up. And it will make a lot more sense when I make the correction! Anyway, just had that epiphany in the shower the other day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blessed to Be a Blessing. For the Display of His Splendor. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Though it tarries, I am waiting. The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back. Call to me and I will tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Habakkuk 2:1, 3. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Blessed to Be a Blessing.

http://tiffanyatwood.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
For the Display of His Splendor. Friday, August 31, 2007. Over the last week or so, I have been reading Romans at the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Here are some scriptures that have ministered to me from the first 8 chapters - may they minister to you in some way today. He (Abraham) is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed - the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. Thank you for forgiving me, Lord. Lord, may I reveal Your glory! I have been so d...
