New Millennium Motherhood: Christmas 2014
http://newmillenniummotherhood.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-2014.html
Because apparently you can't have a baby in the twenty-first century without a blog. Comes with the prenatal vitamins. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. That we don't know yet. He has several irons in the fire. Good options, all. Confirmed, nothing And now that the holiday season is winding down (and I have to figure out how to store the new toys without making any long-term storage plans), the giant unknown is haunting me. And that's a post in itself. I intended this to be about Christmas! We are still listen...

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Saturday, November 13, 2010. This week has been a frustrating running week. I graciously accepted the baby's cold and have been fighting it all week, hoping it doesn't turn into my annual sinus infection. Tuesday's run went relatively well but on Thursday I had to cut my five miler short (ran 3.77) and didn't come anywhere close to the needed splits. Then on Friday I didn't even make it out to run because I felt so lousy. 8 miles. Eeek. This i...

Yup I am officially registered for my first full marathon! I am super excited to tackle a new challenge and test my current limits once again. And what could make running my first full marathon any more special? I'll tell you what. My folks are coming to RUN it with me! Who will be running her very first half! Today, M...

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. When I most need to run, I don't want to go. Thank goodness my husband knows me best and pushed my grumpy butt out the door this morning. Mind cleared. Mood lifted. Nothing beats a hard 5 miles, a little sunshine and time alone with the One who made me. Thank you God for allowing me to run. I hope you have a HAPPY RUN today. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Addison had her very first kids running program session last night!

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Plugging away, promise! Life with kids has once again intervened in my wannabe blogging life, but that's okay. L has a fever and is requiring lots of extra snuggle time. Diet is going right along. There have been substantial screw ups, but not nearly as many of those as great choices. Trying to overhaul your eating is hard hard hard to do, especially all at once. Shocking revelation, I know. The Things That Matter.

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Wednesday, April 18, 2012. I love this stuff! Monday, April 16, 2012. The kiddos and I enjoyed live streaming the Boston Marathon on the computer (hooray for home school flexibility) and was actually able to watch the Wave 2 start while FaceTiming with my Dad who lives about a quarter mile from the start! It was so cool! And now.Now my dreams/goals have shifted again. I want to run and finish the Route 66 FULL marathon on November 18. My gut a...

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Thursday, March 10, 2011. Pity party for one. I have been swirling several different blog posts around in my head this week. Most of them were along the lines of this:. I WANT TO BE ONE OF THOSE SUPER ORGANIZED AND ENERGIZED MOMS WHO RUN AT 4AM EVERYDAY AND STILL HAVE A SPOTLESS HOUSE, CLEAN KIDS AND DINNER ON THE TABLE AT 6! I'M FRUSTRATED. I'M TIRED. MY KIDS ARE SICK.AGAIN. WAAAHHH! I'VE GAINED 3.5 POUNDS THIS WEEK! Captivating, isn't it?

Run More. Faster. Further. It keeps the full on crazy at bay. Thursday, March 22, 2012. When I started this blog a couple of years ago I did so because I had just decided to do something that, for the first time in a LONG time, really scared me. Something that I wasn't honestly sure I was capable of doing. I signed up for a half marathon. (hence the oh so clever name-ha). Oh and I was still pregnant with my second child at the time. NBD. But along the way I quit writing about it and I sort of regret it, ...
