http://merelytheshadowofadream.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. Here's the finished drawing that I posted a progress image of a few days ago. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, although I may go back and tweak a thing or two. Enjoy! Links to this post. Thursday, March 20, 2014. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. EDIT: Update "From the Sketchbook"! In a continuation of my raven obsession, I felt like revisiting the character of the oh-so-dapper Mr. Raven. And Mr. Raven rides again! Links to this post. Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

Merely the Shadow of a Dream: Inktober 15 and 16
http://merelytheshadowofadream.blogspot.com/2014/10/inktober-15-and-16.html
Thursday, October 16, 2014. Inktober 15 and 16. Here are sketches 15 and 16. The first is of an evil wicker basket. The second is the brainchild of my ten year old brother who conceived a talk show entitled "Conspiracy Today." This is the host. Wicked wicker . . . And remember- our conspiracies will be with you today, and, tomorrow! October 16, 2014 at 10:38 PM. That basket. o.o Nicely done. October 18, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Was Wicker inspired by Veggietales? Dusty Feet: Looking beyond babyhood
http://natalielorinblogs.blogspot.com/2014/07/looking-beyond-babyhood.html
If I want to know if I'm having a good day I just have to look at my feet - if they're dirty I'm probably having fun. Monday, July 28, 2014. You know how when you have a honda suddenly half the cars you see on the road are hondas? Consider this article on weaning your last baby. I've no doubt that what she's facing is real and sad, but are we perhaps leaning a little too hard on motherhood as biology? This Tim McGraw song has been on the radio recently, and it really caught my attention. Posts of Our blog.

Dusty Feet: The public issue of private pain
http://natalielorinblogs.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-public-issue-of-private-pain.html
If I want to know if I'm having a good day I just have to look at my feet - if they're dirty I'm probably having fun. Thursday, October 2, 2014. The public issue of private pain. That which hurts us is often very good, and I think that when call good the things that God calls good we actually come closer to healing than when we try to toss up barriers between them and ourselves because we are coming closer to the heart and will of God. So what should we do? And that's about all I know on this topic.

Merely the Shadow of a Dream: September 2014
http://merelytheshadowofadream.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 21, 2014. Sergio Cariello, Howard Pyle, and N.C. Wyeth. While I unfortunately do not have any new artwork to post, this past week held two exciting art-related events for me. The first was the chance to hear about the life and work process of Sergio Cariello. Links to this post. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Features a circular pattern that contains elements which are symbolically relevant to the Zeldarian lore. Links to this post. Sunday, September 7, 2014. Links to this post.

Dusty Feet: When knowing more doesn't help
http://natalielorinblogs.blogspot.com/2015/01/when-knowing-more-doesnt-help.html
If I want to know if I'm having a good day I just have to look at my feet - if they're dirty I'm probably having fun. Monday, January 26, 2015. When knowing more doesn't help. What if I'm not giving my son the best nourishment to make up for him having had antibiotics in the NICU? What if some of this stuff is really exaggerated? According to which study? It's hard finding your way through the din of voices, and it can be really, stinking tiring. I find myself longing for clear-cut answers.

Merely the Shadow of a Dream: June 2014
http://merelytheshadowofadream.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 14, 2014. Museums, Illustration, and the Summer. Despite the complete lack of attention to the blog, I haven't been completely unproductive. Things have been crazy preparing for college, and camp over the summer. Like last year, I don't expect to make any posts while at my job as a camp counselor. However, I have had the opportunity to do two exciting things recently. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). From the Sketchbook (Updated 13/3/14). Museums, Illustration, and the Summer.
