What should have been a two hour trip turned into a very treacherous 6 hours. Time to get your Holiday on. Because there are only so many days to wear your Christmas attire :) Happy December! And because one Thanksgiving dinner is never enough. Saturday, January 31, 2015. After 23 years of monthly misery, it was time for the uterus to go! But it was a process getting there. Had a diagnostic lap surgery in May, followed by a trial of Lupron to throw me into menopause in July, an insurance denial then temporary approval pending a second opinion, and finally, a laparoscopy assisted vaginal hysterectomy (partial, but also taking the tubes). (Don't ask me what we were thinking with the baby only weeks away, but she is excited to play.and we are excited for her! Lucky for us it is held indoor in case of inclement weather (which just so happened to be on the very first day. Needless to say, she is loving it!
