We take bookings for tables of 8 people and over, otherwise just turn up. Monday - Friday: 12 noon - 5pm, 6pm - 9:30pm. Saturday and Sunday: 11am - 5pm, 6pm - 9:30pm. Gastro pub, fine dining and. Small b&b in Horstead Keynes. Welcome to The Crown. The Crown Inn at Horsted Keynes is an historic building dating back to the 16th century. It has now been serving locals and travellers for over 250 years. In July 2003, lightning struck a power line to the building which resulted in very serious damage and large parts of the building were destroyed. Fortunately the oldest parts were untouched and after being closed for over 5 years, it was finally reopened in 2009.

Sunday, February 23, 2014. Ompleted in 1992, the short film. Was filmed inside the Crown Hotel. The historic building served as a perfect location for the haunting tale. Local Citrus County community theater actors Jaret Lubowiecki, Paul Gagnon, and Denise Davis Herzig performed in the film while hotel co-workers worked behind the scenes to complete the 20 minute short.
