As I write this blog we are still on the seas, anchored off Brampton Island, sheltering ourselves from the strong S/E winds which have come to join us again. We (myself and kids) have been putting off the 17n mile, 3mtr seas, back to Mackay. But tomorrow the winds and seas 'should' abate a little and our time has come to set sail. That's when they started singing!

Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Booby on our boat! There's a booby on our boat! Ahh the memories.). We stayed the night at Orpheus Is and next day sailed 44 n miles back to Townsville. The seas still very lumpy but the crew battled on, skipper loving it! We made an early start, 5.30am and sailed 68n miles south to Cape Upstart arriving by4pm. The weather was much better although the seas still a little lumpy! Sunday. Father's day! No breaky for Alex (or the crew as we now opt for no food till our destination!

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Wow the days are flying by! The kids so excited to believe that there really is fish in the ocean! But the techniques were amazing. The kids had this radical jerking action that caught fish on the back of the neck and unbelievably even had one caught through the stomach! That was Jack. and very proud too!
