Ok, so when a local hotel advertises $2 margaritas and beers AND free appetizers including enchiladas, rice and beans and chips my friends are all over it. We did keep the waiter busy until happy hour was over. Here's proof that my friends are lushes, just kidding. We did have a lot of laughs and margaritas. After the parade we did a little junking at a local swapmeet/flea market then walked the main street to find a local singer/guitarist playing outdoors at a funky diner with outdoor seating. Sunday, May 09, 2010. Next to last step. 18 Hours in incubation. The final product looks nice and thick but it has to chill 24 hours before consumption. So we'll keep you posted. Saturday, May 08, 2010. I am giving it a go using fresh goat's milk and an organic Greek yogurt culture. It takes anywhere from 8-24 hours for it to ferment. So check back to see the results. It is in really good shape, has had one owner.an older couple. She ain't pretty, but she has no leaks and a good AC. They also kept it in a barn so it has held up well. Plus it was in our price range! I might become a camper after all.MAYBE! Now if I could just get rid of that piece of junk in my yard that used to be a camper I would be doing good. ;).

While we were at Thornwell Rocky managed to get shampoo in his eye at the groomers (which lucky for us is at a vet) and had a reaction. After seeing an opthomologist and spending the weekend in ICU he ended up having a corneal ulcer. The vet was fabulous! Good news is he learned how to use a barf bag! After a rough night! Finally an IV in the hand not arm and some sleep! Sitting with daddy in the ER. Checking out the toys!
