We hope you enjoy watching Nora, Teddy and Vinnie grow and change. We are so grateful for our children. Saturday, January 25, 2014. Alex gets christened and random pics. I mean, can this face get any cuter? My sister's little guy Alex was baptized a few weeks ago. I am honored to be his Godmother and my brother Tony is his Godfather. Alex looked so handsome. And seriously- did not make a PEEP the entire mass or during the baptism. What the heck", and "I don't know, I just wanted too". On October 6th we f...

The Romero Family: January 2009
http://romerofamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2009. I have not had a lot of time to post pictures since the twins were born, so here are pictures from the week after they were born up til this week. Hope you enjoy! Cameron and I got discharged from the hospital 4 days after I delivered. Unfortunately Ella Claire was not eating well and had to receive some of her feedings via a feeding tube. So she had to stay in the hospital in their special care nursery and I would go in daily to visit and spend time with her. Ella Claire is FIN...

Becoming the Browns: December 2011
http://scbrowns.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 20, 2011. For home-cooked meals with a couple hundred extra calories per serving, perfecting my wrapping abilities, and enjoying holiday parties! And being a total slacker. I tend to feel this way during the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, and this year is no exception. My New Year's cards (that's right, New Year's) arrived on my doorstep 10 minutes ago as I'm readying myself for braving the crowds in my last-minute shopping tradition. Whoops. Enter the most wonderful time of t...

Becoming the Browns: January 2012
http://scbrowns.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 2, 2012. Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring.not even a mouse (whew! Thank goodness for that. Love, The Browns :). Joseph's mom (aka Pinky) knows the perils of hospital working, especially around the holidays. She worked 4 in a row over Christmas, so we enjoyed some Christmas cheer with her and our other favorite Sun City ladies (aka Grannie Jo and Aunt Bettye) a few days before. Presents from Pinky could be featured in Southern Living!

Choose this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord - Joshua 24:15. Monday, April 18, 2011. Gardening and lessons learned. OK, I must admit I hate to garden. Well, let me rephrase that, I love gardens and I love fresh flowers and veggies and being around God's beautiful creation, but I absolutely, positively hate weeding! Doesn't He weed us, prune us and shape us and water us and grow us into His likeness? Posted by Dave, Krysten, Andrew, and Kira. Links to this post.

Becoming the Browns: October 2011

Friday, October 21, 2011. For two people who were not raised in "military families," Joseph and I have become recently connected to the United States Navy. My involvement has been with the Naval Hospital in Beaufort as I began my clinical there in late August for PNP school. Don't look for me to don blue fatigues anytime soon though! I have always wanted to see them play, and apparently, so has everyone else in Beaufort. They did not disappoint! So excited for fall wear! Sunday, October 16, 2011. Stilesb...

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Emily and I went with Crystal and Katlynn to Marmon Valley Farms. They have a hayride that takes you through a live nativity that is really neat! It was freezing outside though! Despite the cold, we had a great time-even took in some cookies and hot chocolate. Emily enjoying her cookie!

So peaceful-well, as peaceful as it can be with Emily around! We went out on a boat ride, did some fishing, ate some good food, and just relaxed.
