Kosher or sea salt. 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter. Penne pasta (or your favorite short-cut pasta. Penne is great for this because the sauce cuddles up inside the tubes of the pasta). 4-6 garlic cloves, minced (depending on your preference, I used 6). 2 shallots, diced.
