https://mangiodasola.blogspot.com/2010/02/chocolate-mousse-cheesecake.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Sunday, February 7th, was.*gulp*.my birthday. Whew! For weeks, I have been planning out what type of cake I wanted to make for my birthday. Like I said, I don't usually do anything for my birthday, but now that I have just started baking, I decided to make something special for it. (My friend guessed right that I made this cake for the blog more so than for my birthday haha). And espresso chocolate ganache on top. I really, really, really. Don't mean to brag, but every single l...

Nutella Pound Cake | Dana Treat – Treat Yourself
http://danatreat.com/2009/09/nutella-pound-cake
September 18, 2009. Let’s just cut to the chase, shall we? I saw this Nutella Pound Cake recipe in this month’s. And had to make it. I decided to double the recipe which I almost always do with this sort of treat. Things baked in loaf pans freeze well and it is so little effort to double. Then, one night when your husband calls you and says that so-and-so is coming to dinner, you have a dessert just waiting for you in your freezer. One Year Ago: Pissladière. Makes one 9-by-5 inch loaf. 1/4 tsp. salt.

The Chickenless Kitchen: The Melting Pot Method
http://thechickenlesskitchen.blogspot.com/2010/01/melting-pot-method.html
Don't be a culinary wuss! Thursday, January 14, 2010. The Melting Pot Method. You may have heard of the Clean Out Your Fridge Method: Take all the ingredients you have that are on their last legs and dump them into an egg-based dish. What process can you use to employ the Melting Pot Method in your kitchen? Pick another region and choose two ingredients that could be associated with that region's cuisine. They don't have to be exclusive; for instance, I could associate "eggplant and onions" with pret...

Lower on the Food Chain: Paneer Korma
http://lowerfood.blogspot.com/2009/09/paneer-korma.html
Sep 12, 2009. Ontinuing on the Indian theme, I found another dish that seemed pretty interesting. I've had korma in Indian restaurants, but this was a little different. In the pan it smelled amazing, but on the tongue the sweet and sour nature of the yogurt blotted it all out. This recipe comes, again, from VahRehVah.com, but I'll reproduce it here since there were some necessary alterations. When the te...
