Red Shoe Something: Fakt.
http://redshoesomething.blogspot.com/2012/09/fakt.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. View of fall colors from South Fork Park, Provo Canyon. Citi jako podzim. Fakt. It feels like fall. Truly. Fall is finally here, and I guess I'm ok with it. I was reluctant to say goodbye to summer, but since returning from my trip to Utah, I'm ready for it all- the crisp air, the vibrant colors of the leaves, pumpkins, squash, Halloween, the smell of burning brush fires in the backyard. All of it. I LOVE this photo, it is so beautiful! October 1, 2012 at 8:32 AM. Putting thin...

Red Shoe Something: April 2013
http://redshoesomething.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Tonight is my last night in Seattle. When I moved back to my hometown two years ago, I never thought I would leave. Seattle is where I want to get married, raise a family. I loved growing up here, with all the green and the water. I didn't know any better at the time that rain and gray skies aren't the norm in other parts of the country. It's strange to think that tomorrow I'll be in a different state. A state I swore I would never live in again. So here's to change and adventure!

the haskin family: March 2013
http://sandhhaskin.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Stephen, heather, seth, and evan. Mar 25, 2013. Preparing for General Conference. For a long time we have had the center fold of the General Conference Ensign on our fridge- it's the page with all of the General Authorities' pictures and names. Seth already knows the First Presidency but has recently taken an interest in learning the names of the Twelve Apostles. No matter how many times we say Elder. He forgets and says Mr. Mr Parents- Elder Perry. Mr Cook- Elder Cook. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

the haskin family: Family of Four: the birth story
http://sandhhaskin.blogspot.com/2013/09/family-of-four-birth-story.html
Stephen, heather, seth, and evan. Sep 17, 2013. Family of Four: the birth story. I've been thinking it would be nice to blog again. My last post was 5 days before Evan's arrival. I had hoped to catch up on our summer adventures but Evan thought it was more important that he should make his debut. So first thing's first: the birth story. I brushed the thought aside and got in the car. Just before turning into the library I felt a huge GUSH. "Oh crap! Pause* My water just broke! I think I was pretty panick...

Adam’s In Site: Have You Heard?
http://adamsinsite.blogspot.com/2010/12/have-you-heard.html
Adam’s In Site. A collection of happenings, thoughts, and photos from my life. Friday, December 10, 2010. And in case you haven't heard either, on a random Thursday afternoon in September and over the course of ten minutes I lost all the hearing in my right ear. The specialist said it's probably inner ear nerve damage, possibly caused by a non-malignant tumor. So, no, it's not earwax. I'd be thrilled if it were. How has this affected my life? Adam’s In Site: 30-Year-Old Virgin
http://adamsinsite.blogspot.com/2011/07/30-year-old-virgin.html
Adam’s In Site. A collection of happenings, thoughts, and photos from my life. Monday, July 25, 2011. Not to worry, nothing too personal or explicit here.). I was married just three months shy of my thirtieth birthday. Up until that time, I was a virgin. Intentionally, I might add. By modern standards, I’m odd. Those who would call me “old-fashioned,” however, are dead wrong. I, and others like me, am abnormal by any generation’s standards. According to one study. Sometimes we don’t know how bizarr...

Adam’s In Site: September 2011
http://adamsinsite.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Adam’s In Site. A collection of happenings, thoughts, and photos from my life. Sunday, September 25, 2011. Zero Population Is the Answer? Recently, when I told a friend that I wanted three or four children, I was brought up short by her immediate question: "Why? So, is overpopulation destroying our world? From an ecological perspective, absolutely not. From an anthropocentric perspective? Maybe, but indirectly and it doesn't have to. Lemme explain. And see for yourself. Or look at another example, th...

Sagacious Path: 2 Nephi 29
http://sagaciouspath.blogspot.com/2011/01/2-nephi-29.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. Why Study World Religions? Roger R. Keller. To know how God works with all His children is to know that the family of God is much broader than The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Yet many Latter-day Saints wonder why they should study the religions of the world. Why, some ask, should we, who have the fulness of the gospel, study religions that are not true? 8220;Wherein do you differ from others in your religious views? President Young tells us that wherever there i...

Monday, October 10, 2011. Nourish the Good Seed. If it is a good seed; It will grow! The Book of Mormon prophets remind us of the propensity towards person growth found therein. Nephi reminds us to apply scripture to ourselves in- 1 Nephi 19:23. Alma compares the word of God unto a seed which when it begins to grow it enlarges our soul-Alma 32:28. Saturday, June 25, 2011. 8220;And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness, I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.” Ether 12:27. July 3, 2011 at 10:52 AM. Sodoes this mean Dad is your weakness? July 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM. No, I think we both have some weaknesses to work on, growing strong now!
