The Dagnes Daily

Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Back to the Future. It's been a long while since I last added an entry to this blog. I think of it often, but never feel like there's much to write about. My life has been quiet. In the grand scheme of things, that's not a bad thing. However, for the sake of entertainment on a blog site, it doesn't prompt me to take hand to keyboard. Until then, I have to battle the urge to eat anything in my site because I'm slimmer now and I want to stay that way. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Dagnes Daily: December 2008

http://www.thedagnesdaily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 13, 2008. That's the main reason for the month long hiatus from my blogging. Well, that's the one that I'll admit to. Quite honestly, I haven't felt like there's much to write about. My life is pretty boring. Banal, at best. I watch TV, spend time with my husband, and avoid cleaning the house. John and I joined a gym earlier in the fall and even took up a spin class. Until then, Facebook and blogging will be my thing. And hopefully, I'll have something exciting to talk about.

The Dagnes Daily: June 2008

http://www.thedagnesdaily.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 21, 2008. Well, this week started out with a bang! I am still in a happily surprised state about the sample dress being mailed to my house. On Monday evening, I talked with a seamstress that Karen recommended when we thought we might need a new dress. Claudine of Bridal Perfections, http:/ www.bridalperfections.com/. Six weeks and six days from today, eek! This weekend will a busy one. I have envelopes to address and get mailed out. Another one of my aunts is in town visiting, so I...I fee...

The Dagnes Daily: February 2010

http://www.thedagnesdaily.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 6, 2010. I have this theory about movies - if a movie has more than 2 A-listers, you've got a real stinker on your hands. It may be popular, but it's definitely not worth movie ticket prices. Save your coins and rent the thing. Apparently, some Twilight saga teen wolf agrees. With me and is already bashing the upcoming release of a movie so packed with stars that the opening scenes will look like the closing credits. I'm constantly trying to find a movie that doesn't fit within these c...

The Dagnes Daily: October 2008

Sunday, October 19, 2008. The Taste of Childhood. There are some foods that always remind me of childhood, or younger years. My parents have this photo of me with a big bag of Cheetos and superbly orange fingers. If I'm ever in a silly mood, I grab myself a bag of those. Well, he's going to have to adapt. We've spent the past two weeks looking for those cookies and our grocery store isn't carrying them. I got online today to e-mail the company and get some details about which area stores must be ...Befor...

http://markstrendyblog.blogspot.com/2012/09/photo-dump-2-wake-forest-vs-liberty.html

Walking the fine line between the reclusive and the obnoxious. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Photo Dump Part 2: Wake Forest vs. Liberty. I was accepted into Wake Forest University's MBA program this fall, so another college adventure begins! Of course, I had to take the family to see the Demon Deacons to whup on Liberty University to begin the football season. It rained for the entire first half, but we had a great time. Walking the fine line between the reclusive and the obnoxious. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Photo Dump Part 1: Katie the Cheerleader. So, it's been a whole cotton-pickin' year since I updated this thing, so my writing will be brief. This is a photo dump! Katie was a cheerleader for the first time this weekend for the Bethany Cowboys football team. They were cute! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And have developed a love of hockey as well. Walking the fine line between the reclusive and the obnoxious. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Photo Dump Part 3: Arlington National Cemetery. After the older three kids returned home from California, we visited the DC area again, this time making a trip to Arlington National Cemetery. It was really an amazing experience - you have no idea how many graves to expect, and then you see the rows. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And have developed a love of hockey as well. Walking the fine line between the reclusive and the obnoxious. Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Look closely. This is the window above our living room. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Not too much has been going on of interest lately. I now have three weeks until graduation. So there you go. And he'd reply, "Ummm, W? He just wasn't trying, I think. But now, maybe he'll be able to keep up in kindergarten this September. Wait - J-2's going to be in kindergarten? What's next, K is getting married? Good times, good times. Hard-...

Mark's Trendy Blog: April 2008

http://markstrendyblog.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Walking the fine line between the reclusive and the obnoxious. Saturday, April 26, 2008. So, the Niners today drafted Kentwan Balmer, a defensive end from North Carolina, in the first round. I think that's a great pick, as Balmer was expected to be drafted well ahead of when the Niners picked. Balmer solidifies their defensive line and may even be an upgrade over the retired Bryant Young. So who did the Niners select in the 2nd round? Chilo Rachal, a guard from USC. He had knee surgery two of the las...

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Holy cow, it's been over a year since I last attempted to keep people up to date on the happenings of us, and in a year, so much has changed! One of the biggest updates is that I am pregnant, and nearing 20 weeks! My pregnancy has been pretty great thus far, no sickness and little to no nausea. The biggest side effect has just been my diminished ability to get a good night's sleep due to discomfort and not being able to lie on my back. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. God is so good!

One Italian American's Journey Along America's Great Divide | The Dago Diaries

One Italian American's Journey Along America's Great Divide. What Have We Done? Nov 9, 2016. Nothing says America more than riding a giant Jackalope in Dubois, WY. I try not to be too political and I rarely if ever view my own personal political views publicly because I feel you will never change the opposite views mind, so why fight and argue? This morning though I woke up and like many American’s asked myself, what have we done? Random folks making us dinner on the 4th of July Holiday, why? Here we are...
