Monday, August 3, 2009. While in Venice we took a fast, fancy boat to Merano, one of the islands off Venice where the glass is made. Merano is beautiful and slower paced than Venice. The glass making exhibition was amazing. It was a great way to spend the afternoon! Old Town canoe in the canal in Merano. At the vapparato stop, waiting to return to Venice. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Today we (ash jason, me mom and dad, and 2 guests that ash knew in the past) went to Fano, and checked out the market!

The town was putting on a three day midevil festival, but was unfortunately inhibited by the rain on the night we went. Still, it was amazing. The entrance to the walled town.
