We played hooky from school and work once afternoon to catch some leaves up at Kenosha Pass. We packed a picnic lunch, picked up the kids from school and drove up the winding road. It was absolutely perfect. The leaves were absolutely unreal and the weather was perfect. Jared and I kept asking ourselves why we don't do that more often (play hooky! Since we missed our entire mountain getaway over Christmas break, we went up for the long weekend in January. It was only three days, but it was plenty of time and just enough fresh mountain air to feel replenished again. I was not on this walk on the iced over lake or I would have been freaking out! Just before Halloween we got together with our neighbors and carved pumpkins. Cooper lives across the street and up a couple houses and Alex lives on the other side of the circle. Cousins Addie and Ryan came to have a sleepover at our house and it was so cute. Addie adores Elise and I caught them skipping and holding hands while we were walking to the park. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. So, Hallwoeen was awesome, but this year the weather was bitter sweet! Like you almost do not need a jacket warm! I am not.they LOVE the Disney princesses. Nice because I did not have to go out and buy new costumes! Our neighborhood is fun on Halloween because there are tons of kids in the neighborhood.infact, we went through three huge bowls of candy, and actually ran out. But it is nice having a lively neighborhood! Also, happiness.the election is over today!

Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Soyesit has been over a year since I have created a post.i thought I would take another stab at trying to blog. We have had a great summer so far.full of camping trips and trips across the country. We fly for free, so we are able to just get up and go if we feel like it. So we decided to finally do this. The kids LOVE airplanes! Cheyenne and Aurora love being in the air.Felicity.not so much! So first we flew from Salt lake City to Long Beach.LOVE that airport!
