The Daily Hudson

Monday, August 3, 2015. We went camping this weekend at Bull Trout Lake.  The friends we went with are camping pros, and I came home with a list of things that would make our operation a lot more efficient.  Camping is what people do here on the weekends, so I will have to continue the therapy sessions to overcome my Outdoor Aversion Syndrome.  It certainly helps that I have two natural-born campers. All’s well that ends well. And hot chocolate for breakfast. One of the guys we were with has a prospectin...

The Daily Hudson: March 2015

http://www.thedailyhudson.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 15, 2015. Hudson ran his second fun run yesterday.  In case I didn’t remember, I opened my eyes Saturday morning to a little face peering over the top of this sign. He ate a good breakfast and then we headed down to the starting line.  It was a St. Patrick’s Day race and this little leprechaun was ready to run. He started off a little too fast trying to show off for a girl from school, but settled into a pretty good pace after she zoomed ahead. 160;    . We also made a few trips to Goody&#8...

The Daily Hudson: Pool Party

http://www.thedailyhudson.blogspot.com/2015/07/pool-party.html

Sunday, July 19, 2015. We have spent a lot of time at the pool this summer. It’s also great on their end because they can practice their synchronized swimming without interruption. I think this is take 172, but there were a lot of variations. An empty pool also works well for sailing the open seas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Daily Hudson: November 2014

http://www.thedailyhudson.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 22, 2014. How super secret could this plan be? We’re in gratitude mode around here.  Nothing like 50 kindergarteners lined up at a Thanksgiving breakfast feast wearing turkey hats and singing all five verses of “Albuquerque the Turkey” to get you in the holiday spirit. This was exactly the second time he had picked up a tennis racquet, the first time being when I came home from the store with it, so there was a lot of instruction.  He learned the ready position. I felt a mild panic whe...

The Daily Hudson: Botany Camp

http://www.thedailyhudson.blogspot.com/2015/07/botany-camp.html

Sunday, July 19, 2015. Better than his attempt at a selfie. Parking was supposed to be terrible, so we loaded our bikes on the car and rode them over on the Greenbelt.  Just like all the other cool kids. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Rejoicing Always. . .: A Big Night...

http://shellywillbanks.blogspot.com/2011/02/big-night.html

Sunday, February 13, 2011. It is almost 1am on February 13 and I have been having contractions 5 minutes apart for 2 hours now. My due date with our sweet Avery Jayne is not until March 3. I feel like this most likely will not be it.that the contractions will subside and we'll have another couple of weeks with her in tact.or will we? I'm sad that I haven't blogged this entire pregnancy. I am in shock that it is almost over.like over tonight! You have NO idea how true that is, sweet Hayley! We have known ...

Tuesday, March 27, 2012. I want to have a record of these things for myself and this is really the quickest outlet for me to put it all down. And then she'll say, "Mom, next time maybe you should let us know when you're closing it. Someone could really get hurt! Why am I so nervous? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Four of my GREATEST gifts! Rejoicing Always. . .: August 2009

http://shellywillbanks.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 27, 2009. First Day of School. I love being a follower of Christ. He makes life exciting. He leads me down paths I would NEVER choose on my own. One of these paths lately is the decision we have made to follow His leading to homeschool our kids this year. Hayley is in Kindergarten and Jack and Riley are pre-school. Mallory is in on the fun too. See pictures below. : ). I have people all the time say, "Oh, well it will be easy for you to homeschool- -you were a teacher! Riley letting Mall...

Boswell Buzz: December 2010

http://boswellfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 31, 2010. We spent a few days prior to Christmas in Waco visiting family, but made sure to be home in time to leave cookies for Santa at our house.  Here is Jarett in a costume he got from Nana and Grandpa for Christmas. Here is the Boswell house at Christmas! 160;Didn't Jeremy do a good job with the lights this year! Here is the entire class- the program was in her kindergarten room- we had front row seats. Next, Macy was in a Christmas program for dance. One of our family traditions is...

Boswell Buzz: October 2010

Monday, October 18, 2010. And the Parties Never End! 160;I am so glad you have family in OK, and I get to see you occasionally. Case and his buddy Max.  They enjoyed crawling around the gymnastics place.  I was glad Max's Aunt and Uncle helped me keep an eye on Case, too. Macy had a lot of fun swinging off the rope.  Macy has gotten quite brave- I have also noticed her bravery at the playground.  Just another sign that she is growing up on me. Case enjoyed the whipped cream on our Sundae at POPs. There h...

Boswell Buzz: September 2010

http://boswellfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Case takes in the Capital. I have to say that my favorite thing about the trip was the hotel room.  It had the best massage chair in the room that massaged your entire back and your legs or feet.  Case would take a nap, and I would read a book and get a massage- what could be better to do on vacation? Case in front of the Washington Monument.  (We went to the Lincoln monument, and the new WW II memorial as well, but forgot the camera that morning.). Case got his nap. &#...

Boswell Buzz: March 2011

http://boswellfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 3, 2011. I don't have a lot of pictures this month, but it seems as though we were plenty busy. Here is Macy taking a bite of snow the first week of Feb. Here are Macy and Case- she is such a good  big sister.  She is always helping out with Case, and he adores her.  Case is finally getting "big" enough to sit at the little table with Macy and Jarett for snacks some days. Macy getting a kiss from her good-lookin' date. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Boswell Buzz: June 2011

http://boswellfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Macy is growing up so fast.  I think she is beautiful- but of course I am probably biased. . Macy LOVED her curly hair- it took me about 20 minutes to do it, so I doubt she will ask me to do it this way very frequently. Macy on stage doing her tap dance. I was excited that I got this cute picture at the end of Macy's ballet number. My kids with the Fords. Macy telling Uncle Trent Bye. Case giving Grandpa goodbye kisses. The flowers in our backyard matched Macy's ballet dress.

Boswell Buzz: October 2011: Pumpkin patch, Fall festival, Halloween

http://boswellfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/04/october-2011-pumpkin-patch-fall.html

Friday, April 13, 2012. October 2011: Pumpkin patch, Fall festival, Halloween. Quick note: You are going to have to bear with me while I catch up. I will try to do one month at a time, till I get current). Jeremy and the kids at the Pumpkin Patch- getting ready to have some fun! Case liked the tire swing. I just think this is one of the sweetest pictures of love! Case LOVED driving the tractor- he is my boy who likes all things locomotive. We could barely get Case off the tractor that day. There is no ha...

Monday, November 29, 2010. Birthday Boy is 1! Here is the carrot cake- thanks Shelmama for the wonderful recipe! Case was going for the candle here. 160;We have an appt with an ENT in two days.  Looks like my baby probably has tubes in his future. He still gave a few smiles about opening presents.  He did not want mama putting him down, though. Case has started playing with the big kids- he even drives cars around like big brother (oh well, cars go in reverse, too). I respond, "You want to go night night?
