Tuesday, January 29th – Off the Catapult. Jumping off the deck of an aircraft carrier? Yup, we went there. Here are two videos that show you the view from inside the cockpit as these two planes take off. Bear in mind they go from standing still to 165 miles per hour in roughly two seconds! Our first plane is apparently an S3 Viking complete with radio chatter while the second clip is an F-18 Hornet. Listen to the guys in the first clip as the jolt of the catapult hits them. Great stuff.
