She is smart, beautiful and athletic. Older Brother: Yeah but she is so tall. This made me laugh as we had just measured Mary back to back with this young man the previous day. Friday, May 22, 2015. Mary Jumps to A Win. Mary just finished 8th grade Middle School Track. Her three events all involved jumping: long jump, high jump, and 100m hurdles. This past week we attended her Districts which was so fun to see all of these kiddos compete! Mary improved so much this year. She worked really hard and ended up getting 2nd place in long jump, 3rd place in hurdles, and a hard earned 1st place in high jump. It's always the parents fault! Saturday, August 28, 2010. 1st day of school. This year, Michael and I got to the get the kids ready for their first day of school. Their Mom usually gets them but this year she had training at work. So Michael made them a really nice breakfast of pancakes and bacon. They picked out what new outfit they wanted to wear the night before. Abby is now in 6th Grade. Saturday, May 29, 2010. So part of my mid year goal is to love my body with all of its challenges. So far this year, I have willingly given up dairy. I am working on enjoying a piece of candy vs eating the whole candy bar and then wanting more later. I want to also start spending more time doing yoga and meditating.
