I had skipped September (just got busy preparing for vacation), so I made two pies for October. The first was an apple ginger pie with cider-bourbon sauce. From Epicurious. So I grabbed both of my frying pans (the stick and the non) and poured on the batter – first in silver dollar-sized blobs and then gradually built up crepe-sized courage. Thursday, February 28, 2013. Since the last update we've since blown through Thailand, here are a few things worth sharing. Pattaya, this previously unknown to me location is 2 hours south of Bangkok, it's the beach party goto location for Bangkok. It's very hard to describe this place without photos, a sinner sin-city than Vegas. Everything is for sale starting with Scorpions on the food carts to very much in your face "entertainment" choices. Pattaya seemingly did not sleep, be it 3am. Home on Sunday :(.
