My blood, sweat and tears :D. Saturday, July 11, 2009. This is a big update to my graphic demo. I finished implementing a sun shader, which includes HDR, bloom, and God ray. Please follow this link to watch it in HD:. I also finish implementing Depth of field (or DOF). Here is a picture:. The lower right rectangle shows the depth test for the scene. My blood, sweat and tears :D. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Parallax Occlusion Mapping and Glass HLSL. Ok so I just setup my blog here to post my process on my graphic demo. I doing this to improve my 3D graphic skill as well as work on my portfolio to find an internship. Here is my current graphic demo. It's written using DirectX 9.0c and HLSL. So in this demo I implement these graphic techniques:. Cube mapping to create the sky box. Normal mapping for the floor and those columns. So voila, a glass teapot!

My blood, sweat and tears :D. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A post after so long! This is just a post to revive the blog :). In the past few months, I revamped the demo and implemented deferred shading instead of the traditional forward rendering. I also clean up my code and organize them for better readability and maintenance. Currently I'm working on implementing multiple atmospheric scattering from Eric Brunton's paper.
