Tuesday, December 9, 2014. This year, Jason and I hosted Thanksgiving at our house for the very first time. I've gone 12 years without having to make a turkey on Thanksgiving. I was. Sort of freaking out about it. What do you take out? What do you put in? How the heck do you know when it's done? After spending hours scouring the internet for recipes and watching youtube videos, I felt pretty prepared to tackle Mr. Tom. You know what? It really wasn't that hard! Happy Turkey Day everyone!

Saturday, January 3, 2015. Just before Christmas, my youngest brother, Brad, returned from his mission in Virginia. We were all so excited to pick him up from the airport. Joshua and Livi remembered Uncle Brad, but the little boys were too young when he left. All they knew of him was that we prayed for him every night in our family prayers. He came home a different person. Seriously . . . we kept saying how grown up he was! It was so much fun to spend time with him and hear all about his mission.

Saturday, July 10, 2010. So when swim lesson came around, I was a little apprehensive about Kylah enjoying her time. At first, she was a little freaked out and did not want to go in. She screamed and kept saying "NO! The next day, Nana put her in the water and walked away. It took a while for her to finally calm down and trust in Miss T. The last day of swim lessons, Kylah even jumped off the diving board to Miss T. I was so proud of my little girl! Thursday, June 24, 2010. As we say, it's our playground!
