The Mezgers: June 2015
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Thursday, June 18, 2015. So we had everything all planned for Maggie's 4th birthday party - bike riding at the neighborhood school playground/sport court breakfast tacos donut cake. But then THE RAINS came. We postponed until after our trip to Paris. Meanwhile, its her actual birthday and we're gone (incite parent guilt). But the grandparents took such good care of her and made her feel so special.with some help from her sibs. Birthday breakfast before camp?

The Mezgers: July 2015
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Maggie - Ms. Stacy's Class 2014-2015. Next three posts - pics and school/art work from the 2014-2015 school year by kiddo.). Looking at Maggie now I seriously can't believe this was her at the beginning of the year. Since our preschool is a co-op, parents are in the classroom one class (for each kid) about every 4-6 weeks so we get to observe/participate. Even so, some of the picks (that Ms. Stacy took) sort of surprise me! Oh, and dots.

The Mezgers: CAAAAAAAAAAMP!
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2014/07/caaaaaaaaaamp.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Weeks I was at camp as a kid were usually the best weeks of my summer. And the week my kids were at camp this. Summer.yep, best week of the summer! Rebecca and Maggie were both at Champions "gymnastics" camp at WAYA from 9-2 every day. Ah-mazing! The reason we signed the girls up for camp was because Owen did Pine Cove's "Camp in the City. But lets back up. We had:. Emily (Shutes and Flatters). Anna (Gully Jeep Willikers). What a stel...

The Mezgers: October 2014
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Saturday, October 11, 2014. Just a little ode to Kyle - who got up at 3am this morning (in the rain) to get brisket and ribs in the smoker. Its a big game day in college football and we're having people over tonight to eat smoked meat a la Kyle. Even though the flood was not my doing, I did. Back our minivan into the garage door. People have told me everyone. Does that. But I have yet to meet all of these people. The door was open and my muscle memory...This ...

The Mezgers: November 2014
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Thursday, November 13, 2014. Sweet little man - Jackson Jett. Every once in a while I get to take photos for a friend and its always such a treat for me. Our friends and former neighbors Jimmy and Staci welcomed home Jackson Jett a few months ago and I spent a morning with them snapping some snots. Trying to figure out where J is going to be happiest. Who wouldn't love being on this cozy couch with momma? Sleepy yet little guy? Let's try for some solo shots.

The Mezgers: December 2014
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Saturday, December 20, 2014. This summer I was doing some prep for fall projects and said to Kyle: you know, if we are just too. Busy, I could skip the Christmas letter this year. Kyle laughed. At me. He knows me and how much I love writing this letter to you all (and keeping it for ourselves). Once I realized this would be our tenth. Letter I knew I couldn’t imagine ever being that. Busy So, here we go. Remember the days when it was only one page? Most of he...

The Mezgers: Other July Funness
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2015/08/other-july-funness.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Just some fun snippets from life in July. A lunch date w/ Maggie at Whole Foods. Maggie's snooze face in my bed. Posing w/ books and minion in her bed. A little kid-car fun at the Murrays house. Having a bad attitude about dinner and trying to keep her angry face when Mommy copies it. ( Mom - remember telling me not to smile? Made a little man out of veggies from Nana's garden. Fun rock bridge to the other side. Sure, get in the water.

The Mezgers: Happy Birfday 'Merica
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2015/08/happy-birfday-merica.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Oh the neighborhood Fourth of July parade - how we look forward to you each year and wonder if we'll make through you without tears. This year - the answer was YES! All three kids rode their bikes and neither Kyle nor I ended up carrying a kid or a bike (or both)! Popsycles afterwards to celebrate. Owen and Nathan (I think Rebecca was such a mover that we didn't get a pic of her.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Mezgers: CAMP WEEK!!!
http://themezgers.blogspot.com/2015/08/camp-week.html
The days may be long but the years are short. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. You all know how much I love camp. Well, this summer was no different. (Except we didn't get to host counselors because the time commitment overlapped with our hosting the Iraqi students - bummer! This year Owen and. Rebecca got to go to Pine Cove Camp in the City. She was soooo excited! And Owen was too but he was playing it cool - "I went last summer" - aka, I got this.). Getting ready to carpool with Oliver - Nathan, R and O.
