The problem that I have (or had) with this painting is that the paint is cracking on it. I experimented with a new type of canvas for this one and this is the result I received? I hope this can encourage you (and not only the ladies! To stand firm when you feel broken and cracked. There is still beauty to be found. After all, it is the cracks that allow light to shine through.

What does courage look like for us in our daily, and sometimes obscure, lives? However, when I look at the definition of "courage" in its core context, I feel somewhat different. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines courage as "the ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous.". This, I do everyday. LIFE is difficult. LIFE is dangerous. We are all lions.

It is so fun to be greeted with his sweet smile in the morning, even when it's very early, and his laughter is such a delight. Here's a glimpse of our life the past month. April 26, 2015. We are loving these warm days and recognizing even more how great it is to be where we live. February 26, 2013- 14 weeks. James is so much fun these days! He is really settling into a routine - eating and sleeping on a regular schedule and sleeping longer at nights which means we all wake up happy! Overall, he is just a happy, easy-going baby.We are really enjoying getting to know him as his personality starts to develop and look forward to watching him grow. February 13, 2015. Graeme will be 22 weeks tomorrow! It's hard to believe how quickly the past five months have gone by. even if some days and nights feel very long! We are doing well adjusting to life with two kids and have enjoyed many adventures the past few months. James is really learning at an incredible rate these days, talking in sentences to us, identifying colors and letters, counting and more. We love listening to him talk and are really loving this phase! Graeme sleeps 8 hours a few nights!

April 8, 2014. It has been a busy past two months! James has taken off developmentally and is communicating so much with us! Some days it is frustrating because he just points at something and we aren't sure what he wants, but it seems like each day he is learning something new. He can say some words now such as "truck", "car", "ice cream", "night night", "hi! Bye bye", "Landon" (sounds like La-da but it is adorable) and several animal sounds like ducks and monkeys!
