Saturday, August 27, 2011. I am loving being in the second trimester! Everything is going great. The baby is anywhere from 5 to 7 inches now, about the size of an avocado. The most exciting thing to me about week 16 is that the baby can now hear sounds. Love that! We have our next doctors appointment Monday. Can't wait to hear that heartbeat! Saturday, August 20, 2011. Monday, December 19, 2011. We went to the doctor last week and everything looked great. They will start checking his weight and position when I am 36 weeks. We are officially going to appointments every two weeks now! I feel like we are finally getting things accomplished as far as baby preparation goes. Madden's carseat came in today! We now have his dresser for his room (present from Uncle Josh and Aunt Lauren! Love that things are finally coming together! Monday, December 12, 2011. Pam (Mimi) and Beth.

We had looked forward to it for a LONG time! Our flights there were good! I am always thankful for a smooth plane ride! Flying makes me super nervous! Always has, always will. They first time we flew to Orlando, SK got sick on the plane. She did not have any problems this time. Here we are about to take off.

They are now in 2nd and 4th grades. They wanted to dress alike and I thought that was so fun! Hoping and praying they will both have their best year of school yet! Wowtalk about looking grown up. Emily has been looking grown up for awhile.but SK.dang girl, slow down. She looks like she is in 4th grade! Cant believe they are so grown up!

Sunday, September 25, 2011. Baby boy is now the size of a cantaloupe! He weighs as much as 1 pound now. I really like the jogging strollers. I have heard they are the most convenient. This one was ranked high on reviews and I like the colors! The Chicco Keyfit 30 is ranked very high for safety. Haven't decided which color I will get but know this is the carseat I want. Sunday, January 22, 2012. At my 37 week appointment I was still at 1 cm. I was definitley hoping for more progress, but apparently Madden just needs more time. My doctor told me she didn't think I would go into labor early. She did say that if everything looked good, she would let me pick a date at 39 weeks. So really Madden could be here in just two weeks! Keeps Getting Better: 36 Weeks

Sunday, January 22, 2012. At our 36 week appointment I found out I was dilated 1 cm! I had been having mildly painful contractions for the first time two days before my appointment. I was so excited to have made some progress! I am officially in the "miserable" state. Ready for this baby to get here! I think finding out I was making progress put Matt and I into action.
