Monday, April 11, 2011. 1st Vacation- New Orleans and FL. We spent a lovely 6 days in New Orleans and Destin, Florida! NiNi and I went with my parents, and it was a great 1st flying vacation with my girl. :-). Mom and Dad got to try muffalettas, beignets, pralines, and lots of seafood :-) We listened to all kinds of music, and the people watching was so much fun, not to mention the crazy shops! 4 of the 6 families from our China travel group came, and it was great to get our kiddos together again! My precious daughter has now been a citizen for 6 months! Sunday, June 19, 2011. CCAI reunion in Denver! Miss NiNi is becoming quite the traveler! We flew to Denver for our adoption agency's annual reunion, and had a blast! We stayed with one of the families from our travel group, they were so welcoming and kind. Their little girl, Hutton, is 3 1/2 months older than NiNi, and they played nicely together. Parker, CO, is gorgeous! The reunion was incredible. NiNi was thrilled to be surrounded by so many kiddos, and kiddos that look like her! NiNi ate 3 by herself!

Thursday, August 13, 2015. I'm a big fan of making lists but I hate the store-bought notepads with their insipid designs and lack of vibrancy. For something that stays put on your fridge almost all the time, it surely deserves a 'character', you'd agree? So, I took it upon myself to make my very own magnetic notepad. And the process was super fun! From here on, I'll let the images do most of the talking. The tools you'd need: Ruler, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Binder Clips and Transparent strong-hold glue.
