Wish You Were Here | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2010/01/01/wish-you-were-here
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. Wish You Were Here. I’ve heard the song “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd hundreds and hundreds of times, and I’ve played it probably as many times on the guitar over the course of over 15 years. But the amazing thing about the best music is that even after countless times listening to it, it can still reveal new aspects of itself. By no means is this revelation earth shattering, but it is one of the little things that makes music so fascinating. Wish You Were Here.

Frank Zappa | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/frank-zappa
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. I first listened to Frank Zappa’s music during Rykodisc’s rerelease of Zappa’s entire catalog in 1995. During the rerelease, many of Zappa’s albums were receiving rave reviews from rock critics and I was intrigued enough to purchase. We’re Only In It For the Money. After first listening to. We’re Only In It For the Money. My honest reaction was there goes 12 bucks I’ll never get back again. It was way out there like nothing I’d ever heard. But. Zappa Top 10 lists.

Music review: Eyes Open by Snow Patrol | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2009/12/17/music-review-eyes-open-by-snow-patrol
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. Music review: Eyes Open by Snow Patrol. By Snow Patrol sat on my shelf for a while because I had bought it at the same time that I bought Snow Patrol’s previous release,. While there was nothing bad about. Nothing made me want to immediately listen to. Some of the radio friendly hits on. Aren’t bad, such as “Chasing Cars,” “Shut Your Eyes” and “Hands Open,” but two other songs are the standouts. Overall there are some nice pop songs on. And I probably like. Fill in...

TV review: Babylon 5 Season 4 | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2009/10/16/tv-review-babylon-5-season-4
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. TV review: Babylon 5 Season 4. Season 4 of Babylon 5 starts out by leaving some questions unanswered from the end of Season 3, but by no means does that affect the enjoyment of this season. Season 4 seems to move along at a rapid pace, with major developments in the overall story arc that were set up in season 1 being resolved only 6 episodes into this season in the episode Into the Fire. Music review: Perfect Symmetry by Keane | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2009/11/16/music-review-perfect-symmetry-by-keane
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. Music review: Perfect Symmetry by Keane. Keane’s first album,. Is a good album in the mold of Coldplay that fit the year 2004 very well. Sounds a little too much like generic 80s pop music so much so that I can’t even single out any tracks to comment upon, as many of them are rather bland. Beyond that, there is nothing really negative about Perfect Symmetry, but there is also nothing compelling that says that this is music that needs to be heard. Rating: 5 out of 10.

The Future and The Past | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2009/11/29/the-future-and-the-past
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. The Future and The Past. When did “what is going to happen” (the future) become more important than “what has happened” (the past)? Are we all just living behind the times? Are we all simply experiencing old news? Hardly. Rather it is simply that not all consumers feel the need to always live in the future. Music Review: The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/2007/06/15/music-review-the-freewheelin’-bob-dylan
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. Music Review: The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan. I don’t relate to the songs that are meant to be political and I fail to find anything funny about the songs that are meant to be humorous. Part of my feelings may have to do with knowing in advance that this album is considered a classic, but an album as highly regarded as this should have more than two good songs on it. The Perfect 10s | From inside a rock, out comes a monkey
https://bobsala.wordpress.com/the-perfect-10s
From inside a rock, out comes a monkey. What entertainment would I rate as a perfect 10? The intent of this page is to answer that question and highlight the best of the best that I have enjoyed throughout my life. Reviews of each may eventually show up as blog entries in the future, but I want to list these here in one place even though the list is fairly small, as any list of the very best should be. Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin. You are co...
