The Narrow Road: January 2012
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. I have been listening to a series online on 1 Timothy 2 and I coudn't help but post this quote. I think one of the biggest reasons, one of the killers of the faith of young people who grow up in Christian circles, is that they did not see that their parents’ faith had joy in it. Your kids will most likely reject your religion if it is a joyless religion. Revive Our Hearts Ministry, Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Training Our Daughters June 13, 2006. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Narrow Road: A Funny Little Verse
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2011/10/funny-little-verse.html
Friday, October 14, 2011. A Funny Little Verse. Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean,. But abundant crops come by the strength of the ox. How many times do I wish things would just stay clean? Our children are the fruit of our lives, I hope to bring this verse to mind the next time I am having to sweep up the dirt clumps after my little oxen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Narrow Road: February 2011
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. America the Mission Field. I am still reading through Isaiah and I came upon this verse today and although Isaiah was talking to Israel it reminded me of where we live today. The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. But I am so thankful that this verse came next. Pray for the Mission Field in America today. Saturday, February 12, 2011.

The Narrow Road: Yes, I am reading a commentary
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2011/08/yes-i-am-reading-commentary.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Yes, I am reading a commentary. Wow, as a young family in the ministry how I long for one of my sons to say that last sentence about our family some day. May we always remember to keep our congregation at home important and display the mind of Christ by word and deed. Thank you for the encouragment and legacy you leave Thielman family. That leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." Matthew 7:13-14. This also reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost, yes I had to memorize this in high school. WO roads diverged in a yellow wood,. And sorry I could not travel both.

The Narrow Road: A Book Review
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2012/02/book-review.html
Saturday, February 4, 2012. What if he forces me to live in another country? But the wonderful thing is that when/if he calls you to do missions particularly in a foreign county even though it's hard you will love it. I tell girls that I lead in a Bible study of disciple when these sort of questions come up that God will not force you dragging and screaming he give you desires and a love and a WANT to do it. The Narrow Road: I will praise you in the storm!
http://thenarrowrd.blogspot.com/2011/10/i-will-praise-you-in-storm.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. I will praise you in the storm! My husband recieved the blessing of helping a family who is rebuilding their home after the tornados on April 27th. Our church recieved donations from different states; people wanting their money to go to storm victims and we were able to pass that along. I don't know why I continued to be surprised at what God does but I am. Here is the story. And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
