November 23, 2012. This is our popsicle stick puzzle. It would be easier for toddlers with the bigger popsicle sticks, but this is what we had. I just traced popsicle sticks over a picture from one of the boy's magazines, cut it out and glued the picture on top of the sticks. Then I cut both sides with a utility knife and let them figure out the rest. They had fun with it! It has solved the problem! I just laid the felt fabric over the horizontal rails and decided how long to cut it. I let about five...

January 1, 2017. Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. The Blessed Virgin Mary is born to be Mother. The supreme consolation that our Lady receives at the cross of her Son is the assurance that her vocation as Mother does not end with Christ's death. The Lord commands the world, "Behold, your Mother.". A plenary indulgence may be gained by reciting or singing the hymn Veni, Creator Spiritus. We did something similar to what we did here.
