http://texas-mama.blogspot.com/2009/07/americas-birthday-so-glad-were-still.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. So glad we're still free! Once it got darker, the kids were throwing those little pop-its. Not really fireworks, but good enough for them. They don't know any different, and it made a loud noise without fire! I can't believe I don't have any pictures of this.but Carrie's parents had bought a ton of fireworks. It's illegal in Texas to shoot fireworks in a neighborhood, but what did they care? Carrie's mom was telling Carrie's dad, "Light this, shoot off that! The kids also got to ...

A Perfect Pair: June- low key...sort of!
http://texas-mama.blogspot.com/2009/07/june-low-keysort-of.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. June- low key.sort of! The best thing is that now she's a swimmer. I wouldn't go off and leave her totally unattended, but I don't have to be in the water. She can swim around and even dive for sticks! She was learning to kick her legs with more strength. Grace had swim lessons at Ms. Leslie's house for 2 weeks. These were so much better than the city lessons. She took with these other 4 kids, and really learned to swim this year! Me and how I'm going to look in 40 years! Sweet ...

http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-have-survived.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Christmas festivities, parties, celebrations, travels, shopping, baking, wrapping, rehearsals, performances, and fun with four kids. The stress that my husband places on himself and feels from about the 1st of November to the end of Christmas. The first of four birthdays, four months in a row. A husband who's so sick he spends six days in bed and loses 20 lb. in one week. A couple of sick kids who decided the week we were travelling would be the perfect time to get sick. Browni...

The Fab Four: "Labor" Day
http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/labor-day.html
Monday, September 6, 2010. While mowing the yard, Lou decided he needed help from a 21 month old. So he picked the cutest one EVER. And they finished up the yard together. And, of course, they had to stop and pose for pictures for Mommy. And cheer on Daddy on as he works hard. And help Daddy pick up sticks in the yard so they won't run over them with the lawn mower. The Delp's Daily Show: April 2010
http://delpsdailyshow.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
The Delp's Daily Show. Monday, April 12, 2010. We were lucky to attend Maggie and Jude's first communion at St. Mary's in Anderson on Easter Sunday. .the kids did really well during the service. but the meltdown in the car afterward when Katie didn't want to get into her seat was a "not so shining" moment in our day. (See picture of Katie screaming on the floor of the car! Which is her word she uses for candy. Kids. :). Decorating easter eggs this year involved a lot more colored hands than colored eggs!

The Fab Four: In the Thick of It
http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-thick-of-it.html
Monday, October 4, 2010. In the Thick of It. And so, we are in the middle of it. Middle of school. Middle of soccer season. Middle of dance classes. Middle of softball season. Middle of Bible studies. Middle of Kid's Club (our weekly kid's after-school program). Middle of Life. And while Life is not slowing down for us anytime soon.I am enjoying watching my kids do the things they enjoy. School started and we hit the ground running. We are definitely in the thick of it. The Delp's Daily Show: Staycation
http://delpsdailyshow.blogspot.com/2010/08/staycation.html
The Delp's Daily Show. Monday, August 2, 2010. We actually thought we'd get to sleep in the tent, but at 11:00, it became VERY clear that Katie, aka demon voice crazy katie, was NOT going to cooperate. But we had a great time nonetheless, and were ever so happy to know that a camping trip 2 hours away from home would've proven nothing but sleepless for the rest of us. Maybe next year we'll try it for real! It looks like you guys had a much-deserved day of fun! August 3, 2010 at 7:39 AM. A Day in the Life.
