I forgot to put this picture on the August update and I thought I'd better get a pregnancy shot in the mix just in case I don't get caught up before our little girl arrives. August 20, 2014. Monkey started school on Tuesday 12th of August. So, he’s now been in school for 7 days. And so far we have had tantrums and holding everyday. And to tantrums about homework…. Sorry for not posting anything in a long time, we’ve been mostly out and about so haven’t even opened my computer in over a month (have played with my tablet and my phone, so didn’t go totally crazy). After that we got a heat wave over here and it’s been really really warm. And the big day arrived yesterday and the kid started school.

Friday, May 4, 2012. Xavier has decided the word no is a good thing to say in all occasions and to every person. I was sort of waiting for this stage to hit (please let it be a stage) because every small child seems to learn and enjoy the power of the word no, but I secretly hoped we could just skip it. Thursday, May 31, 2012. Our day in court (again). Daddy and Xavier walking to the courthouse. Celebration dinner with our new "official" Texan. As loud as he can. And not just once. Oh no, he yelled it over and over. What can you do? I just started laughing. I knew it was a clever ploy to get down and walk, but his timing was impeccable. Thursday, October 27, 2011. I will have to confess first about how I got this recipe. I was riding with two other coach's wives to the last out of town football game. When we got back to town one of them left some magazines in the vehicle saying she was just going to through them away. Well I scooped them right up because I saw this recipe and was really excited to try it. Whew! Don't you feel better already? The cupcakes turned out so well and this chocolate frosting was wonderful! I love this picture!
