Skateboards & Books: Max Leaves Boulder
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2012/02/max-leaves-boulder.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Max and I left school and met up with Ryan at Denver Park. Ditched high school to come "hard-style" in front of their new cars at Denver Park. Oh, to be young again. They also came up on a Vitamin Water sponsor. We left Denver Park for Chipotle. Tried to do some street skating. but there's still snow everywhere. We checked out this spot on the way to another park. Then, ice cream! I love Sweet Action Ice Cream. Skateboards & Books: December 2011
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Saturday, December 31, 2011. I know everybody runs the "Best of 2011" type stuff, but I had a really great year, and I'd like to reminisce on it. Going to Washington DC with my 9to5 internship. Tagging along on a bit of the Mystery Color Theory Tour. Working two jobs for a short period. I know there's people who work two, three, or four jobs, but for me the experience of working two was stressful and rewarding. I'm glad I did it. The Omnivore's Dilema by Michael Pollan.

Skateboards & Books: So Far...
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2012/01/so-far.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Monday, January 16, 2012. So I haven't done much updating in the new year, because I really haven't done anything this year. Since I haven't been able to skate at all, I've been working full-time, hanging out with Anna (though she is in DC now), and reading. Here's what I've gotten through over break. January 16, 2012 at 5:28 PM. You are just such an awesomely sophisticated individual Josh! January 17, 2012 at 4:30 PM. Youre too nice Monico. Flagstaff, AZ 1/9/16.

Skateboards & Books: Beginner Sunday
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2012/01/beginner-sunday.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Today marked the month anniversary of me not skating. Worst month ever. So I decided that I would try to skate again. The doctor said, "stay off of it for up to six weeks". So, four weeks must be fine. And it was! I skated with knee-brace, didn't try anything to fancy, and everything feels fine. Probably another two weeks before I'm fully going for it again, but until then I'll be casually cruising around a rebuilding my strength. Flagstaff, AZ...

Skateboards & Books: March 2011
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Up North - Day 3. The breakfast gathering. None of us knew how legendary this day would become. Two words: meat raffle. So we drove to Dallas, Wisconsin, to take a tour of the Viking Brewing Company. But after the drive into town, the brewery wasn't open. What are the other options in a town with only four businesses? An new opportunity presents itself in downtown Dallas. The Longhorn Bar. It's meat raffle day! Sassy signs, and of course, a gun.

Skateboards & Books: July 2011
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Saturday, July 30, 2011. I started my day off by getting coffee with an old friend, Molly. It was nice to catch up. After that I went to The Shop, got one of the new hats, set up a new board, and wrote this web-update. Burrito time at Illegal Pete's. Ryan stretches for the big game. The crowd anticipates, and Garrett delivers. Good work buddy. After skating, we headed to pho. Jan and I arrived early and skated this bank. Ice cream is the only way to end a day. So I spen...

Skateboards & Books: October 2011
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Food, Skating, Party. On Saturday I went to the People's Food Justice Summit held at Kepner Middle School in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. I went to learn about what organizations and communities are doing about food inequalities in Denver, because I am doing one of my independent studies on food deserts in our city. The summit was really informative, I got a lot out of it. Met up with these two at this abandoned mini-golf course. Then o...

Skateboards & Books: Random Saturday
http://skateboardsandbooks.blogspot.com/2012/02/random-saturday.html
A place for me to put my pictures. Sunday, February 5, 2012. Denver got a lot of snow Friday, which pretty much ruined any skating plans I had for my weekend off. Because I still had the day off, I decided to make the most of it and get some errands handled. I picked up Joey, and we headed to Floyd's to visit Natalie/Mark. While I was putting change in my meter, my entire foot up to my ankle was submerged in slush. Luckily Floyd's has a dryer, Natalie hooked me up with that. Joey and I feasted at Moe's.
