Wednesday, April 20, 2011. I have had this china cabinet for about 13 years and have always loved it. However, I have gotten on a "this house is too dark" kick and decided it needed a design altar! I absolutely love how it turned out. I primed it with kilz, painted 2 coats of Valspar Crystal Aqua, then distressed and glazed it. I couldn't be more pleased. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Look what I found today! I just love turning trash into treasure! I scored both of these frames for 5o cents each. Can you believe it? You can tell the size by the comparison. This piece had been a black screen. I removed the screen, cleaned it up, painted it and added a chalk board and chicken wire. Clip your notes or cards on the top and leave chalk messages on the lower section. You could hang this vertically or horizontally. It would be perfect in a child's.
