So you spot some Hobo. It's exciting, yes. But remain calm and consider these points before you take a picture. Is it the best time of day to photograph it? Does including people make your picture stronger? If so, what kind of folks? An owner, a patron, etc. Are you showing context? If you're driving, biking, running or walking, be extra safe. But get that picture anyway. Include windshield wipers, rearview mirrors or other obstructions because it shows how you encountered it. Is it in a surprising place?
