In any event, after some serious discussion and thinking through it, we landed on the reading the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) to begin the year. We agreed to spend the first 90 days of the new year reading them, starting with chapter one of Matthew. 68 chapters, 90 days. Nothing overly ambitious. So, we’ve started.
