Film & TV Work. If these FAQ’s have not answered your question, please contact us and we will try and answer your question. How did ‘The Diehards’ get their name? The term “Die-Hard” was coined in the smoke of war during the battle of Albuhera, fought on 16th May 1811 which was the bloodiest battle of the Peninsula War. Later when the battlefield was viewed it was seen that the dead of the 57th were lying like a pack of cards that had toppled over. Where can I see ‘The Diehards’ in action. 8216;contact u...

Wargaming the Zulu War: September 2011
http://zuluwargames.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wargaming the Zulu War. Friday, 16 September 2011. I was most impressed by the one to one Isandlwana display at Colours at Newbury last week. The figures weren't that brlliantly painted but the sheer number (around 3,000) gave an excellent idea of what a small (! Colonial engagement looked like. It certainly gave me pause for thought as regards how many figures I needed to paint to to recreate this batttle. I have been thinking about 1/10 but this set-up offered 1/1 as regards numbers. It was many years ...

Wargaming the Zulu War. Wednesday, 26 August 2009. Wargames Factory plastic Zulus. I, at last, managed to pick up a pack of these at Orc's Nest today. I have not been very impressed with. Output so far and had already decided that I wouldn't be buying their British Infantry. Mainly this is because. And they looked.well pretty good actually. You get five each of two sprues:. The first holds five different legs/torsos and 18 arms. 12 of the latter are right arms and six are left. There are 9 distinct heads...

All Thoughts Being Equal. A place for new ideas to settle. Wednesday Links - 24 Jun 2015. Here's some of the stuff I've read about this week that's worth a comment or two. Wargaming the Zulu War: June 2011
http://zuluwargames.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wargaming the Zulu War. Monday, 20 June 2011. I saw this in a local garden centre last weekend and should have bought it; although he is carrying what looks like a Lee-Enfield rather than a Martini Henry. The black facings come from the film. I think, where the recent digital remastering has turned what was a very dark green into black on the otherwise stunning looking blu ray. Thursday, 9 June 2011. First unmarried Zulu regiment completed: the umCijo. Next I will paint a brown shield regiment but am not...

One love; the story of an ordinary, beautiful, crazy, fun family. Elle’s birthday photos. April 26, 2014. 8212; thediehlfamily @ 12:09 am. We arranged for Elle’s one year birthday photos in late march and I was hopeful that the charming little garden I selected would be showing off several beautiful blooms. although the day was sunny, warm and gorgeous, the plants just weren’t out as I had hoped. I would imagine it is perfect right about now, so I am taking note for the future! This time was super easy!
