Dot's Stuff: August 2010
http://40shadesofgreen.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A world of wishes at your command; God and his angels close at hand; friends and family, their love impart. and Irish blessings in your heart. Sunday, August 22, 2010. Ten days have passed since the movers arrived at Clare Castle bearing all my goods. With much help in the unpacking from Paula and Lauryn, the new digs look pretty nice. A second bedroom, however, has overflow. The plan is to gradually form a guest room, so y'all will have a place to sleep when you visit, of course! View my complete profile.

A world of wishes at your command; God and his angels close at hand; friends and family, their love impart. and Irish blessings in your heart. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Gazebo on Turquoise Pond. Today Pepper and I ventured out for the annual Clare Garden Tour. He did pretty well, once he realized he didn't have to stay in the apple box, but could get out to see new people and places. (See pic below). I think I'll try a Picasa album to display more of the gardens. Link to the Picasa Album) Clare Garden Tour.

Dot's Stuff: January 2010

A world of wishes at your command; God and his angels close at hand; friends and family, their love impart. and Irish blessings in your heart. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Sunset in Lahinch, County Clare. The setting sun gently dismisses the day in pastel hues. I remember steering along a curve in the Lahinch highway and just had to stop for the above beauty of the evening over the quiet Atlantic seashore. It's suitable for framing I think. As usual, click on the picture for a closer view.

http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012/09/so-i-love-love-love-love-love-it-just.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. So I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, it! Just like I thought I would! I LOVE BEING A HOME SCHOOL MOMMY! Okay so I know it's only the first day. And I know that there are going to be days that I won't love it as much (if at all.). But today was a GOOD day. It began with morning snuggles. at 8am! And then I capped it off with some "learning in action" shots. Sigh* from one contented Momma. AKA "Teacher". Have I mentioned that I LOVE that? Especially...

http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Living In The Future. Away at the local scrapbook store. During our scrapbook stay-cation day, we had dinner out at a local Asian diner called Pei Wei. Have you ever been? And they provide gluten free options for my girl, Linds! While waiting for our food we were walking to the soda machine and noticed it was different from the last time we scrapped and dined on Asian cuisine. Different as in. Right at our fingertips! Labels: Paper and Glue.

Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue: November 2012
http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Easy Sausage and Tortellini Soup. This is one of those "almost" homemade recipes. It was emailed to me a couple of years ago (I printed it on January 6, 2010. apparently I like to collect new recipes more than actually try them) when I signed up to receive a recipe-a-day via email. It's from BetterRecipes.com. 5 links sweet Italian sausage. 1 can (10.5 oz) condense French Onion Soup. 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, Italian style. I knew better t...

March 22, 2009 in County Waterford- Lismore Castle Grounds. Click for more info on Lismore Castle). A short drive from there took us to the Vee, where the hills meet, forming a vee, through which a panoramic view known as the Golden Vale can be seen. I'll insert my photo of the Vee here. We had wind and sun and a pleasant Saturday all round. Our new bird-feeder post with its several hooks and seed stations is now awaiting visitors. My walking project gets me out and about and has increased to one mile per day. Not much, I know, but hey, it's a start. Angus guards against squirrels. Inisheer Cottage on a cool June morning.

Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue: May 2012
http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Queen of the "Last Minute". I am becoming the Queen of the last minute projects. This is not. How I've approached anything in life. but lately, it's just the way things seem to flow. I hope I grow out of it. And soon. It truly shows a lack of planning and preparing, which has not ever been my character, and nor do I want it to be. But in my lack of planning, God blessed my night anyway. Isn't He great. Um, I don't prefer that idea, Mommy" - to quot...
