Lori's Ramblings: January 2009
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Sheridan comes between Searcy Co. and Shirley. As the school closing are scrolling across the bottom of the TV screen, I am searching and hoping that "Sheridan School District" will be there-right after Searcy County School District and before Shirley School District. It's not there! We're going to school. Sunday, January 25, 2009. S And then I hear this pooting sound. Yes you read correctly-Pooting, as in farting! Where the cowboys ar...

Lori's Ramblings: Random Update
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2007/12/random-update.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Friday, December 28, 2007. I've not posted in so long I don't even know where to begin. Life has been a little hectic since October. Daddy is doing better. His numbers seem to stay in check. However he had to cancel his last appointment with the kidney doctor and rescheduled for early in January. To my sister as she got to her bedside wondering if she would even recognize her. Well, she did! Apparently she never threw ANYTHING away! Was a sealed enveloped, one sid...

Lori's Ramblings: June 2009
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Thursday, June 11, 2009. I have to admit that I enjoy blogging more about the adventures of my parents than anything else! This next photo is of the view from the "Station". Momma said that she needed to remember not to plant corn in this garden next year, because she is afraid when it is grown she won't be able to see over it. And this is what they will see on the other side of the row of corn! More peas and flowers! And they are now happily climbing and blooming...

However, just to update about my dad.he's home and resting better! He told me that he stayed outside most of today. I think sunshine probably did him some good! He will start his 3-days per week dialysis treatments tomorrow. So glad your dad is doing better! That's very good news. January 22, 2009 at 7:44 AM.

Lori's Ramblings: December 2008
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Sunday, December 21, 2008. I just noticed how I was on a roll with my postings in October and it seems that I might have fallen of the face of the earth. So here's to catch up. Hopefully when we meet again in January we will have 12 ladies present instead of just 3 that was at our last meeting! This is my friend and me with a couple of ladies that lead and organized the conference. It was quite funny at that point! This is my husband, two girls and me. I guess thi...

Lori's Ramblings: October 2008
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Monday, October 20, 2008. You ever do something stupid and hope nobody finds out, but it's so stupidly funny you have to tell everybody! Well, here goes. Ok, back to the story.) This 60 watt bulb was more like a night light in these big rooms. The dark color of wall paint didn't help things either. So we bought all kinds of lamps for both rooms so they would have enough light to even dress in there! Reading and doing homework in there was almost impossible! Bonfir...

Lori's Ramblings: May 2008
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Thursday, May 15, 2008. For Praying Out Loud! I love to pray out loud! I grew up listening to people that prayed using the old English that the King James was written in. It was very reverent. But when Cathy prayed, she used words just like she would if she were talking to me. She even laughed and cried while she prayed. Sometimes she even told God she was mad! I can testify that practice makes it easier. Saturday, May 3, 2008. And now it's full of blooms! I am al...

Lori's Ramblings: The Books I'll Write - Part One
http://loritherambler.blogspot.com/2009/01/books-ill-write.html
Random thoughts and glimpses of my life. Sunday, January 18, 2009. The Books I'll Write - Part One. We also discovered that we would now have to write two completely different books, because we had two completely different styles of raising our girls. We have laughed many days about the concept of "the book". Well, I decided this weekend that the next book I'll write will be about the adventures of my dad's last days! So let me catch you up to this weekend. On one of dad's follow-up visits after H/A #2!
