Dingos Don't Wear Collars. April 24, 2013. A Dingo’s Ears. While I am not an expert on dogs, I have noticed that they seem to have three prominent senses. Sight, smell and sound. With the Dingo’s large satellite type ears, we believe their first sense is hearing. It is amazing what Tillie can hear from far away before her eyes and/or nose catch up. While Dingoes generally live in swampy areas, as stated before, after the long hunt in the woods today chasing deer, getting lost and then becoming very thirsty, a Dingo will utilize any water available to them to bring their body temperature down.
