Thursday, July 2, 2015. Five Months with Ellie Grace. Sweet Ellie Grace turned 5 months old in March! This past month I really started noticing how quickly she's growing up. I went to get her out of her car seat when we got home from school one day, and when I opened her door she had her head pulled up looking around the side of the car seat for me! She did it when I came to visit her at the nanny's house the next day too. Who is this big girl? Where did my little baby go? I'd say the feeling is mutual.

Thursday, January 2, 2014. Before I began this post, I took a peek back at my list from 2012. I wrote that I intended to add more "meat" to my reading diet this year. I didn't get into as many classics as I had hoped, but I do feel I did a better job keeping it balanced. And I read a lot. Of good books this year! Read on for my recommendations! Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. I'm not usually a huge Nicholas Sparks fan, but I definitely got sucked into this book! Read the book. It's even better!

Friday, May 22, 2015. Meet our new puppy, Yeti. She's a Great Pyrenees and just as sweet as can be. She's Ellie's puppy, and they already love each other. It was broken in the move, but it's finally fixed and hanging proudly at its spot in our new house. (Well, new to it. This weekend marks our one year anniversary in this house! One of my sweet students brought me a pack of these for Teacher Appreciation Week, and we've been buying them nonstop ever since. So delicious! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
