June | 2015 | Episodic Table
https://episodictable.wordpress.com/2015/06
The stuff of life, mostly Christchurch. June 18, 2015. July 10, 2016. If you remember the 1980s, you’ll remember how the threat of nuclear war was as scary as hell. There was an educational segment in the local newspaper on what would happen if Invercargill was nuked (its risk was as a food production area) and I did a bunch of computer calculations on the half life of various radioactive materials for school. I read about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Was fascinated by radiation. Watched The Day After. The la...

Just when I think not much happened this month, the photos tell me otherwise. I’m not sure if this is upside down. On top of the Odeon. Sunrise reflected in The Press building. The last days of the Christchurch Police Station. The first day of the new Bus Interchange. Michael Parekowhai’s bull on New Regent Street. Love the Penguin cover most of all.

The stuff of life, mostly Christchurch. Reflections of reflections of Christchurch. January 19, 2015. July 10, 2016. One of my favourite random Christchurch discoveries was this wall on Southwark Street. It is on the side of the Warren and Mahoney building. Just a wall reflecting a wall, that’s all. But done to perfection. All the signs reversed, paint imitating the wear and tear of time. On 23 May 2014 both wall and the wall it imitates were there. Ōtautahi rainbows: 2016 in pictures: June. Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other." Deuteronomy 4:39. Monday, April 1, 2013. So March flew by and Spring has slowly made its way to Charlotte. We had a fun month full of grandparent visits, a birthday celebration, St. Patty's Day and other fun occasions.
