Ramblings on rambling in Dorset. RSS feed for this section. On the Wild Side – The Dorset Coast Path Day 3. The following morning at just after 5 am I was up and about. It must have been a warm night as the inside of the tarp was damp with condensation despite all the air movement that using a tarp allows. Next time, I’ll raise it higher so that there is even more space for ventilation. It was a peaceful morning again as I sat having breakfast watching the light gradually grow. In the Early Morning Light.

Ramblings on rambling in Dorset. Another of my poems which was inspired by a late evening walk on a night when the moon became covered by heavy cloud, throwing everything into darkness. Suddenly sounds of animals and rustling leaves became more mysterious as the imagination took over. I wrote the poem in my mind as I walked. Gravel crunched in the inky darkness,. Path glowed softly in the light of the moon,. Owl hooted eerily in the distance,. Nervous, wished to be home soon. Shivers ran up spine and arm.

snowgoosey: Motorsport fun
http://snowgoosey.blogspot.com/2015/06/motorsport-fun.html
Random thoughts and nature notes with a bit of crafty stuff too. Tuesday, 2 June 2015. One of our sons works. On the Bentley Motorsport team and last week he arranged for us to go to Silverstone to see them race. We were treated very well and invited into the garage where the cars were being prepared to race. We were allowed on the Pit Lane. It was a very smart and well presented team and fascinating to see in action. How exciting to be there and watching your son at work. : ). 2 June 2015 at 20:06.

To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Age in Lyn’s Eyes LynCrain. January 10, 2017. There was a time when I was a wee one in age, life was happening. Good or bad, it was my stage. Now that I am older, I realize only I can write the page before life ends and I will have lost the chance to engage. Lyn Crain. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Age in Lyn’s Eyes LynCrain. Women’s Healthcare Under Attack. January 9, 2017. The Affordable Care Act is a complex law which addressed a number of serious omissions in American healthcare. While the Act is flawed, calls for simple repeal are at best naive and will hurt a great many people. Unfortunately, Congress seems to be a synonym for ignorance . When coupled with the attack on Planned Parenthood, which provides breast cancer s...

That my life paralleled so many songs sung. His temper flared and his hurtful words stung;. I envisioned him without a tongue. There was a time when I was a foolish teen…. To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Age in Lyn’s Eyes LynCrain. A Moment of Glory. January 9, 2017. January 9, 2017. Lightning needed to make himself heard; it had been too long since he had. Everything was perfect, the ground was dry, and the trees were brittle for a perfectly set stage. Every moment is the paradox of now or never. Lightning smelled the smoke. Wait! He forbid the wind to intervene; this storm was his! Snap, crack… He thrust straight arrows to ...

To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Age in Lyn’s Eyes LynCrain. December 31, 2016. January 1, 2017. Poetry books typically sell a couple thousand copies at best. So why would a writer choose poetry if it only reaches a limited market, instead of jumping onto the bandwagon of authors writing books in every genre imaginable? Why write at all? All that is gold does not glitter,. Not all those who wander are lost;. The old that is strong does not wither,. And that has ma...

To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Age in Lyn’s Eyes LynCrain. January 10, 2017. January 20, 2017. I caressed a rose in the garden today. My heart clenched, startled by the chime . Our lives always felt like they turned on a dime. Before harsh realities pulled us astray. And those crazy places. Never thought it would last. I don’t want to remember our embraces. Is there you and me? A Stranger Spoke Lyn Crain →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Savon de Marseille, French Soap, Primal Elements
Hand and Body Cream. Your basket is empty. The idea for ‘The Soap Cellar’ had humble beginnings, wandering around a village market in the Var region whilst on a family holiday. As every family does, we wanted to bring back a few things as gifts and to remind us of our holiday and that didn’t take us over the aircraft baggage allowance - soap is lovely, but quite heavy, so only a few bars made it back with us! Form the backbone of our range of products, but we will be adding many more as we find them.
