Our first and current project is with St Monicah Fountain Academy in Nakuru, Kenya. The primary school of St Monicah is situated on the edge of the Kwa Murugi slum in Nakuru, Kenya. It was set up in 2005 from the vision of Priscilla Njenga, with help from her late brother David. It is a primary school of around 150 children, many from the slum. The children range in age from 3-14 years. The school is run by Priscilla and Mwangi as Monicah Foundation International and we work closely with them.

In April 2009 I ventured out to Kenya to visit a friend who lived in Nairobi. I went because something in me wanted to visit and I had that kind of gut feeling that there was something there for me to be involved with, a simple conviction. May 4, 2010. Hello everyone. Sorry that we have been gone so long. We had a week off (vacation) and when it was over. . . . My Mommy's 4 year old nephew had a terrible accident. He was run over with a lawnmower and his little foot was cut off. It was devastating! He is now released from the hospital, but it wasn't before he had 4 surgeries in one week.
