Friday, December 3, 2010. Now that Shaylen is 13 mo, I will post pictures of her first birthday party! And of her 1 year photo shoot in Rockford. She loves to play hide and seek, she will go around the corner and come out and smile or we will chase her around the chair. She loves legos, or duplos, whatever you call them, and is getting so good at putting the shapes in her shape box. We were thankful that it was nothing major, and got rid of the fever! At the pumpkin festival in Zeeland. YAY, I am one!

Monday, November 1, 2010. This precious little girl is 1! Our little girlie is officially 1 today! Though most would think I trained her, I have never seen a kid more into leaves than this girlie, she is truly a fall baby. We had a great time at her party with all of those that were able to celebrate with us and then trick or treating that night was a blast with our block of neighbors and kiddos! Shaylen was so cute! Then of course when we took it away she threw a fit, naturally, because it tasted GOOD!

Monday, October 10, 2011. October is falling fast! This little girlie is getting closer and closer to her 2nd birthday! We just cannot believe how fast she is growing up. She is now talking like crazy repeating everything we say. She can name most of her colors accurately, her shapes and also identify some letters of the alphabet! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Spring has sprung and summer is here! This month of May has gone by so quickly it just amazes me. Shaylen had her 18 mo check up on May 2 and came out with flying colors! She continues to grow so fast being in the 86th % for hieght and the 60th% for weight. She does like to eat and isnt too picky. She is a cuddly girl when she wants to be, otherwise she is constantly on the move. She does like to look outside and watch for anything that moves, but especially squirrels and birds...

Lilypie Third Birthday tickers. Friday, November 27, 2009. Last Sunday we had Blake baptized. He did great during the service.he didn't cry during the actual baptism and then fell asleep shortly after and didn't wake up until we got back home! We tried taking Blake to a New Year's Eve party at our friends' house, and he did great.until we tried to put him to bed there! He's used to a quiet house when he goes to bed, so it was a little too noisy for him to fall asleep and stay sleeping, so we were home by 10! Checking out his cereal. Eating like a big boy!

Thursday, August 4, 2011. Summer is just flying by and since the last posting this girl has continued to grow and get even more of a personality, all good, and maybe some undesirable behaviors. In June we had our block party, always a blast! And Jamie came in from Chicago for a bit. Other than that we went camping over 4th of July weekend, what an experience! Girlie is growing so fast, learning new words each day trying to repeat them after we say them. Block Party, Shaylen and Liam sidewalk chalking it.
