Denise's Drawing Board: Pixie Dust Away!
http://thedrawingboardblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/pixie-dust-away.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. Of course it all affected our work in a big way. but I thought it was a nice evolution. Below is one of the images from a story completely centered around the music fairy, Trill. And this book was focused entirely on a scout fairy named Mika. Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. Oh, this next one ...

http://thedrawingboardblog.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 20, 2015. Back again to speak about more bunnies as we enter the season of Spring. Well, Spring has not really "sprung" here in Milan yet, but looking forward to it after these last cold weeks. OK, I have 2 sets of bunnies to show you from the Woodland Line. The first set is more from the Western culture, while the second set has a more of an Eastern flavor. The Western set started with these small sketches of bunnies. I thought the little guy on the right would work as he looked kind of...

Denise's Drawing Board: Tink... The Continuing Saga
http://thedrawingboardblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/tink-continuing-saga.html
Thursday, March 5, 2015. Tink The Continuing Saga. Here we are again, and this time I want to share with you the development on a couple of the fairies. Some of the main characters of the initial stories – like Rani, Fira or Beck – never made it to the films and thus became the lesser known "girl gang" that surrounded Tink. Myself
My story is not an uncommon one. I have heard the same from many others among colleagues, and as I begin to hear my own words share my tale, I am confronted with its lack of originality. I’ve always loved drawing, and always admired the works of Disney. Even as a very young child, sitting in my family’s coffee shop in Hawaii and entertaining the locals with my crude drawings, I dreamed of someday working for the Mouse. My eyes were focused on that castle that we see before all my favorite childhood films.
