After sewing the fabric together, I used a decorative stitch to close up the open side and finish things off a bit. So sweet! I love the way the stitching turned out. As I sit taking in the pink sky of the beautiful sunrise, drink my coffee and cruise inspirational blogs, I look around at my disaster of a house and dream of what it will look like later today. Clean, decluttered and decked out with my "winterscape". We are in the second year of decluttering, finishing up unfinished projects, working with what we have.remember? Really, I can do this. Can I do it?

I run like a speed walker walks, faster than a walk, slower than a run. With more running I hope I can shave a few minutes off but for now this feels like an accomplishment. Rob and Trevor rented bikes, but I never got a picture of them cruising the boardwalk. Nolan rented inline skates and booked it down the boardwalk. We had another wonderful day. Thursday, August 28, 2014. First day of 8th for Trevor and 1st for Griffin. Trevor started 8th grade. His first day of school was uneventful. He is happy with his classes and his schedule.
